Christmas Formal 2008

What a Super Fun party! We had a sit-down steak dinner for 60-65 people-the food was great! The company was great! And the dancing was even better! We played games, handed out prizes and hung out until midnight. Thanks to Paula Baldwin and Michelle Norman for washing and prepping 70 potatoes to be baked along with all their help with the rest of the kitchen set-up. 50 luminary bags were set up and lit by Maia and Alexia. Randy Baldwin was the BBQ MAN-he grilled tri-tip for at least 55 people! April Evans baked enough cheese cake, brownies and fudge for 70 people! Dan Barber hooked us up with the dance-dance-dancing Machine and helped transform our living room into a dining hall for 65 people. Shea played with my kids while I washed toilets and then he cleaned the whole kitchen after everyone was finished eating. And Joe Snyder probably put in a full-days work by the time he was done running all kinds of misc. errands for us! In other words this party was a huge success because of all the help we had. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

Christmas Lights and Sleepover!

Friday night, we walked the streets of Rocklin and saw some wonderful Christmas lights. After we were pretty much numb from the freezing wind we went back to the church and warmed up with a few games of air soft and poker. We watched two movies, hung out, some crazy people had breakfast at Denny's at 2:00 am, and somewhere between the early morning hours of 1:00 and 5:00am we all fell asleep on the church floor. It was a blast!
